Plasma, a gas-like substance, is sealed between two glass plates.
Plasma conducts electricity carrying a charge which lights up
phosphors within tiny individual chambers. Triads of red, green and
blue chambers form a pixel. A flat screen TV is made up of over one
million pixels. Advanced electronics control the individual chambers
to produce over 16 million colors. The combined pixels form a very
high resolution picture which is viewable from any angle in the room
and under any lighting conditions. Finally, it is important for you
to know that FlatTV is ready for future digital broadcasts with the
addition of an optional digital decoder.*
